Community Members have diverse developmental abilities and disabilities. Our co-operative life enables everyone to flourish so that, together, we are a very able community!

Established in 1995, we are now a lively group of about forty people in six households, just south of Osceola in rural north-western Wisconsin. Nestled into the rolling river bluffs of the St. Croix, we are centered around an organic dairy farm and garden.

Altair Household-One of six lifesharing  houses.

We raise  chickens, bake bread, make furniture, create crafts for sale at craft fairs, and through our catalogue, cook, eat, sing, laugh, dance, canoe, hike and have fun to together!

We are inspired by our experiences in Camphill and the world view of Anthroposophy.   Together we honor the joy and spirit of life through seasonal and Christian festivals.

Community Homestead does not discriminate on the basis of religion, race, color, national origin, gender, age or handicap.
